Self Care Day - Gold Coast
Last week we shared a self care day in Brisbane. This week, we're sharing a self care day idea for the Gold Coast - Perfect if you just want to spend the day or weekend on the coast!
MORNING
Enjoy a walk along the beach - You have a couple of choice, here are some of our favourites. Timings depend on how far you'd like to walk:
Surfers Paradise to Broadbeach
Miami to Burleigh
Once you've finished your walk, get some well deserved breakfast at one of these delicious cafes:
Bam Bam Bakehouse, Mermaid Beach - Check out their food!
Elk Espresso, Broadbeach - Great coffee
Daark Espresso, Labrador - These guys have all day breakfast. We love their crispy herbed potato hash benedict!
Cardamom Pod - Perfect for our vegetarian and vegan friends
AFTERNOON
Pamper yourself at a local spa or massage parlour.
Head to Burleigh Headlands for a stroll - word of warning, mid-morning and afternoons can be busy here!
Grab a few friends and enjoy a beachfront BBQ at the park. Here are some of the top locations:
Broadwater Parklands, Southport
Old Burleigh Road, Broadbeach
Alternatively, if you're on your own, you can head to the same locations and have a picnic instead!
EVENING
Get some body cleansing takeaway from Govindas in Burleigh Heads. For our non-vegetarian friends, their hot foods and salads are absolutely delicious and 100% worth trying.
Alternatively, since you're on the coast, get yourself some fish and chips from Peter's Fish Market in Main Beach.
