Weekend Buffet Breakfast at Q1 - SkyPoint Bistro & Bar

Head to the Gold Coast's highest restaurant for the ultimate dining experience! At a height of 230m, this location will give you have the most best 360 degree views of the Gold Coast - from the beach, to the hinterlands.

The buffet breakfast at SkyPoint is open on Saturday and Sundays ONLY from 7:30am to 10:30am.

Cost: $35 (buffet breakfast)*
The ticket pricing also includes entry to SkyPoint Observation Deck which is usually $27*.

They also have an all day dining menu from 11:00am every day otherwise! Burgers, platters, seafood baskets.. it's all there with the perfect view lined up!

Glow Worm Caves

Enter a cave of nature's fairy lights - glow worms. Along with their light source, glow worms create snares made from silk threads and sticky droplets to catch small insects. They love the heat and humidity and therefore they are typically found in Australia and New Zealand. So if you haven'y seen them before, definitely add this experience to your bucket list!

The best time to visit these guys are during the Australian summer between December and March each year.

Make sure you bring a torch with you for the walk to the cave. Upon arriving, make sure you turn your torch off and don't use any flash photography because the glow worms will stop glowing!

1. Burleigh Beach - Surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and the beautiful Burleigh Head National Park, this is the perfect place to visit if you want to catch up with friends or take a stroll by the beach! We recommend visiting James Street for casual food options or Burleigh Pavillion to enjoy a night out with friends or just a beachfront sunset.

2. Kurrawa Beach - Located in Broadbeach, Kurrawa is central to everything you need. A new pop up beach club - Kurrawa Beach Club has also just landed here too! Rest and relaxation by the beach? Yes please!

3. The Spit - Surf, swim, fish or take your dog for a walk - The Spit is the perfect afternoon destination.

4. Surfers Paradise - If you're out of town, you can't visit the Gold Coast without visiting the iconic Surfers Paradise. Make sure you head to Cavill Avenue for you entertainment and hunger needs! If you walk south from the Surfers Paradise Beach, you'll hit Broadbeach. Perfect if you want to fit in some morning exercise!

SLSC

Those who have lived in Australia may know Surf Life Saving Clubs (SLSC) are non-for-profit institutions that provides beach safety services to our local beaches, but did you know you can show your support by visiting them? Given the services provided by SLSC, they are often located right on the beach front with absolutely stunning views!

Enjoy a brew or grab a feed with your family and friends. It's the perfect places to relax and absorb the views the beautiful Gold Coast has on offer!

Parasailing

If you want to see the Gold Coast from above but aren't ready for skydiving, try out parasailing! You jump on a boat, head to the fly zone and take off from there! Once in the air, you get beautiful eagle eye views of the Gold Coast from the broad water! There are a number of companies that offer parasailing and you can often find good deals through Red Balloon too!
